On the RAIN Collection Volume 1 compact disk , we will be taking a nostalgic look backwards at Amateur Radio's past as described by some of those who have played an important part in it. You'll find all 50 RAIN Reports from 2004 in the 2004 folder. Your bonus tracks will be found in the 1990 and 1991 folders. There are several additional MP3 files, including one that has never been aired. It's a talk by RAIN Founder/Producer, Hap Holly, KC9RP. If you want to spruce up
your repeater or simplex net, you'll want to listen to his half-hour
presentation.

This MP3 CD Is just the first of a series of RAIN releases highlighting the
years of RAIN programming, eventually going back to 1987. We will soon be hard at work on volume 2, scheduled for release in late 2006. It will include all the programs from 2005 along with many RAIN highlights from 1992 and 1993. Your comments about this project should be addressed to hap@rainreport.com.

We hope you'll frequently check out http://www.rainreport.com to listen to the 2006 series of RAIN Reports, available 24/7 in streaming RealAudio and Windows Media formats.
